Our Webcam
Our live webcam is positioned just above Pot & Barrel’s dining room window, looking across the terrace from where alfresco breakfasts are served on warm sunny mornings.
The name of our B&B was inspired by the striking coastal views.
What can you see from the webcam?
View the beautiful beaches of Bude and their surf, the countryside, cliffs and coastline towards Trevose Head, some 30 miles distant.
Compass Point is the small tower seen on the cliffs, originally a coastguard lookout and based on the Temple of Winds in Athens. It has eight sides and is known locally as The Pepper Pot.
Barrel rock has an old propeller shaft from a 1917 shipwreck, the SS Belem, projecting from it with a barrel fitted to its top. This navigation aid signals safe passage to the harbour at high tide, with an intermittent lamp operating from dusk to dawn.
Enjoy this view every morning during your stay at Bude's favourite B&B.
