All bookings made online can enjoy check-in between 2-4 pm and a complimentary Cornish cream tea for two on the day of arrival.

Plate with a piece of cooked salmon, creamy scalloped potatoes, and a bowl of fresh salad including tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, walnuts, and pear.

Dinner

A 5-course evening meal is included for each night of your stay.

To ensure we can cater for any food allergies, please check before booking.

Due to limited preparation areas, we are unable to guarantee 100% non-cross-contamination and therefore cannot offer or supply gluten-free dishes.

If you would like to bring any pre-dinner drinks, we can provide ice, lemon and glasses. We can provide bowls for any ‘nibbles’, consumed outside of your room in the lounge/sun lounge/terraces, for which there is a charge of £5.00 per couple, per night, payable on checkout.

There is also The Crooklets Inn within 100 yards, always offering a warm welcome, should you prefer.

You are welcome to return to Pot & Barrel at any time of the day and enjoy the garden, lounge or sun lounge, but please do not bring snacks or sandwiches back to consume anywhere on the premises.

In Bude, cafes and bars are open throughout the year, and they will all be pleased to see and serve you. Should you wish to stay in all day (or return early), a selection of sandwiches and snacks is available, including an afternoon Cornish Cream Tea at £9.90 for two. Please ask after breakfast for the choice of platters, sandwiches and other snacks available that day.

Promo codes

Ensure any promo code is used for the advertised offer only and conforms with the descriptive text. Bookings that do not comply will be returned less an admin fee of £25.

Payment Conditions

A deposit equal to 33% of the stay is required. The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions.
The full booking balance is due 7 days before arrival.
If booking your stay within 6 days of the arrival date, the full amount is payable as a non-refundable deposit.
Payment can be made by the following cards with no charge: Visa Debit, Visa Credit, and Mastercard.
Cash and cheques are not accepted.

Cancellation Conditions

If a booking is cancelled less than 31 days before arrival, then a charge equal to 33% (the deposit) will be made.

If a booking is cancelled less than 15 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.

If a booking is cancelled 30 or more days before arrival, then a charge of £25 will be made.

In the event of a no-show or booking reduction (after arrival date), no refund will be given.
You may wish to consider travel insurance to cover any costs incurred in case of cancellation.

No smoking or vaping throughout.

Children and/or pets cannot be accommodated.

Your room will be available from 2 pm on the day of your arrival. In order to facilitate cleaning, please vacate your room by 10 am on the day of departure.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Pot and Barrel is situated at the top of a flight of steps.

It is NOT suitable for people with mobility problems.
